In my position, I worked closely with the owner overseeing the entire design process from conceptualisation to release. This involved the design and development of new products, as well as documenting and refining our existing product range to meet evolving standards and market demands. Additionally, I led research and development initiatives in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers to expand our product offerings while ensuring high-quality standards were upheld. Through hands-on involvement in the assembly process, I adeptly addressed challenges in production, design, and quality control, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and the continual improvement of our products.

Global Perspectives For Sustainable Infrastructure
Cambodia - 2017
Water For Cambodia
An introduction to the global issues affecting the delivery of safe and sustainable resources to communities throughout the world and investigating strategies for applying appropriate infrastructure delivery and management technologies to a community in an emerging economy or a developing country. It addressed the social, economic, environmental and engineering issues related to sustainable resource management within a community. Direct engagement with a local community occurred to implement a resource management strategy through volunteer placement within a community aid project.
Personal overview
Once we started installing the water filters there was a realisation as to how scarce safe drinking water is. Then witnessing the local’s appreciation and joy of having access to a clean water source really showed how important it is. It is hard to appreciate how lucky and fortunate we are when our water source is so seemingly abundant.
It was only once we had visited the landmine museum that the countries brutal history was put into perspective. It was hard not to notice the on going damage caused by the Khmer rouge and think about the dark and saddening recent tragedy the country had been through. This made the days spent in the villages meeting such positive people and seeing the real and raw side of the countries way of life and strong culture the most memorable and influential part of the trip. The experience really showed that there is always more to a country you than what you see
